Minton manufactured several different majolica pedestals and many majolica jardinières. There are no designs or original art work that suggest a matching jardiniere to a pedestal. The customer could decide what jardiniere they would prefer to sit upon what pedestal. This fusion of styles and colours is an integral theme in the Victorian interior.
