Adams & Bromley Majolica Begonia Bread Tray c.1875

Designed as a large begonia leaf in bright glazes across a tray with a border reading 'Eat Thy Bread With Thankfulness'.

Crisp modelling and bright majolica glazes.

Adams & Bromley produced several Majolica Bread trays of differing designs with titles such as 'Corn', 'Geranium', 'Water Lily', 'Apple and Pears'. 

A collection of Adams and Bromley bread trays make great wall displays or shelf displays. A single majolica bread tray makes a great centre of a shelf to display other circular majolica plates around.
