Regular price £0.00 Unit price per

Length: 34cm (13.5 inches)

Designed as an oval tray decorated as brown bark with designs with apples, pears  and leaves on the branch with the words 'Waste Not, Want Not' around the border.

Crisp modelling and bright majolica glazes.

Adams & Bromley produced several Majolica Bread trays of differing designs with titles such as 'Corn', 'Geranium', 'Water Lily', 'Apple and Pears'.

The Adams & Bromley Apple and Pears design was very popular in the 19th century. They produced a whole range of items in this pattern, tea sets, water jugs, dessert plates, bread trays, condiments, etc.

A collection of Adams and Bromley bread trays make great wall displays or shelf displays. A single majolica bread tray makes a great centre of a shelf to display other circular majolica plates around.
